Yatra Package Guidelines

In order to facilitate management of the entire HariHar Yatra group, we have worked out a package to include whatever possible in the cost of the trip.
However,please read below to understand finer details of what is offered as part of the package and what is not.

Transportation

  • All transfers to and from the airports in Kathmandu, Lhasa, and Ali will be in AC coaches.
  • Transportation within Kathmandu and Lhasa for sightseeing will also be in buses provided by the tour operator.
  • In Mansarovar, we will be commuting by Eco Buses.
  • During the Kailash Parikrama, Yaks & Yak-men will be provided to carry all the food, camping gear and luggage (only 1 bag per person).

Accommodation

  • Twin sharing base category accommodation is provided in Kathmandu and Lhasa.
  • Best possible stay is arranged either in camps or guest houses at Lake Mansarovar and during Kailash Parikrama.

Food

  • Breakfast at the respective hotels in Kathmandu and Lhasa and Lunch & Dinner specially prepared for the HariHar Yatra group is included in the Yatra package.
  • During the Kailash Kora, a light packed lunch will be served on the way, en route the Parikrama

Miscellaneous Costs Included

  • Tibet/China visa fee for all foreign nationals is included in the package EXCEPT for American and Canadian nationals who have to pay an additional fee of $125.
  • Sightseeing tours with monumental entrance fees.
  • All permits.
  • English speaking guide who will escort the HariHar Yatra group throughout the trip starting from Kathmandu Airport./li>
  • A team leader will be provided to travel with the group from Delhi and one will be provided from Kathmandu.

Not Included in the Package

  • Airfare for Delhi-Kathmandu-Delhi.
  • Travel and medical insurance.
  • Evacuation cost in case of emergency.
  • Excess baggage prescribed by the airlines (allowance is 20kgs for checked-in baggage and 7kgs for hand bag).
  • Airfare Delhi/Kathmandu/Delhi.
  • Hiring charges of personal horse and porter during Kailash Parikrama.
  • Expenses of personal nature.
  • Additional unforeseen cost arising due to flight cancellation/flight disruption to be paid by the participant directly.
