Daily Discourse

The itinerary has been planned to culminate to Lake Mansarovar and Mt. Kailash, but the experience throughout the HariHar Yatra will be a lot more. We will start each day with calming 30-minutes of yoga, pranayama, and meditation to center ourselves.

The journey will include visiting spiritual epicentres along the way, Budhanilkantha and Pashupatinath Temples in Kathmandu, The Jokhang Temple in Lhasa, and several monasteries and places where great Yogis have meditated for millions of years, charging the surrounding areas with an inexplicable energy and magnifying the sanctity of that place.

Since 2004, Vaishnavacharya Shri Abhishek ji has visited the region of Mount Kailash numerous times. Every evening before dinner, he will enlighten us with his beautiful stories and experiences through his various pilgrimages. He will also be talking about, sharing and ‘playing’ with The Shiv Sutra and it’s ‘techniques’ during the Hari Har Yatra. Guruji emphasises on the word ‘play’ so that his audience is neither serious nor indulges in strenuous effort to comprehend-just flows.

The ‘Shiv Sutra’ is a dialogue between Lord Shiva and his consort Goddess Parvati that ‘shows the thirsty how to reach the well.’ It contains all possible ways of cleaning the mind and completely transforms our thought process, giving us a completely fresh perspective on several aspects of our life.
Daily evening discourse followed by meditation(technique) will take place for 7 days before dinner. The discourse schedule is as follows:

Day 1:
Introduction of The Shiva Sutra and how it is transmitted to the seeker. Breath- Bridge to the Universe and how to overcome deceptions of the mind. Techniques for attentiveness and bringing one at ease.

Day 2:
Techniques for centring oneself and going beyond the mind to the source, seeing the past as a dream, and finally going beyond the sin of unconsciousness.

Day 3:
How to look inward. ‘Looking’ techniques, unblocking the third eye and going on an inner journey and just ‘being’.

Day 4:
Meditation – an unburdening of repressions, and methods for ‘dropping’ the mind.

Day 5:
How to surrender- taking the inner journey from sound to silence.

Day 6:
Turning inward from MAYA (illusion) to reality- a journey toward becoming an authentic being.

Day 7:
Entering this moment- from death to deathlessness. To ignite the fire of awareness and liberate oneself from their own self.

All sessions will end with questions and a brief meditation.
